En Busca de la Leyenda; Trujillo Fresnillo Zacatecas

The remains of the hacienda are found in the community still known as Trujillo. According to López Gámez, it is the oldest hacienda in Fresnillo. Its first owner was Don Diego de Ibarra, a direct relative of the illustrious Francisco de Ibarra, one of the famous founders of Fresnillo. The majestic infrastructure of this hacienda included a chapel, a brotherhood, and a baptismal font. The Parish of Trujillo was founded in 1932 and has since administered pastoral services not only in that community but also in a larger region encompassing several communities.
