Kogin Stitching on a Jute Bag - Traditional Counted Thread Sashiko
The pattern stitched in this video is based on part of a traditional Kogin design from an old Kogin-stitched garment. The design appears in the book「青森市所蔵 古作こぎん刺し着物 図案編 コギン図案集〈1〉 総刺し・モドコ・流れの伝統デザイン」(Kosaku Kogin-zashi Kimono Zuan-hen – Kogin Zuan-shū 1) by Iemasa Yamaha, published by kogin.net.
