The Summer Night Concert was performed this year on June 8th, 2023 in the park of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna/Austria. It is an annual open-air event, which has been held since 2008. This year’s program featured Latvian Mezzo-Mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča, who appeared at the Summer Night Concert for the very first time. Elīna Garanča has established herself as one of the music world’s major stars through her performances with leading opera companies and symphony orchestras around the world. Canadian Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin has worked with many leading orchestras worldwide and enjoys close collaborations with Wiener Philharmoniker, Berliner Philharmoniker, Bayerischer Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester and Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
