❝whoever you are, i have always depended on the kindness of strangers.❞ ► D E S C R I P T I O N A Streetcar Named Desire is a 1951 American drama film, adapted from Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1947 play of the same name. It tells the story of a southern belle, Blanche DuBois, who, after encountering a series of personal losses, leaves her aristocratic background seeking refuge with her sister and brother-in-law in a dilapidated New Orleans tenement. The Broadway production and cast was converted to film with several changes. ► N O T E I always found Blanche to be a very difficult character to watch, but I thought this was very fitting for her. I tried including famous quotes of hers, and I think they were quite choppy, so sorry about that :( Also that ending was really bad, I don't know what happened _______________________________________________ ► song : carmen - lana del rey ► film : a streetcar named desire (1951) ► actors : vivien leigh (1913 - 1967) ► this was made for entertainment purposes only x sophia
