Secretly Awesome Empty Heart of Spain (Road Trip)

A quiet road trip through a side of Spain most people never see. We start at Pantano de Entrepeñas and slowly make our way through the empty landscapes of Castilla-La Mancha, testing out our kayak, taking detours through the mountains, and exploring surreal rock formations at Ciudad Encantada. Somewhere along the way, the trip starts to feel like we’re following the water itself—eventually ending up stargazing at its source at Nacimiento del Río Tajo. Along the way, things don’t always go as planned—but that’s kind of the point. Between lakes, mountain roads, and nights under the stars, we start to figure out what kind of travel—and life—we actually want in the van.
