People living on the frontlines of the climate crisis in Bangladesh are trying their best to adapt - but there’s only so much they can do with so few resources. Join BRAC’s Executive Director Asif Saleh as he goes back to Bangladesh’s coast ahead of COP28, to meet the people who have contributed the least to the crisis - yet are paying the steepest price to adapt to it. At COP28, we need the insights of these people to be heard. They know how to adapt, it's the funding that doesn't. Developing countries are receiving as little as 3% of the money needed to adapt to the climate crisis. Within that, 6% is funding locally-led projects.
