Vintage Zoom Lens in a Nightclub w/ Egyptian Lover
Put this much heralded (and heavy!) vintage zoom lens out for a true test in a packed club. The Vivitar Series 1 35-85mm f2.8 was introduced in 1974 and was their flagship model at the time. This example was built in 1978. Took some getting used to given the crazy lighting. Everything was shot wide open (had no choice!). The flares and glow gave it a very retro vibe. All DJs were excellent and Egyptian Lover put on an awesome show. Watch the video for my thoughts and please subscribe!
