SEGA @ E3 '99

1999 was a pretty exciting time for Sega fans. The company was emerging from a tumultuous period of dwindling market shares and fortunes to embark on the launch of, what was hoped to be its savior, the Dreamcast console. Sega were putting their all behind the Dreamcast, taking into account the mistakes they had made with past hardware launches. The Dreamcast would boast innovative features such as the VMU (Visual Memory Unit) and a modem for online gaming, be easy to program for, be backed by a multi-million dollar advertising campaign and most importantly, play host to some amazing games including Sonic Adventure and Soul Calibur. These recordings from the then television channel, [.tv], take a look at Sega's E3 showing in 1999 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The E3 Expo is the world's premiere trade show for computer and video games and related products.
