The legendary Bob James (an alum of U of Michigan) and his trio performing at the April 1962 Collegiate Jazz Festival, Notre Dame University. After this performance, Quincy Jones, one of the judges at this Fest, (and a VP of Mercury Records,) would sign Bob to produce his first album.
