CÓMO detectar una moneda FALSA Fácil #monedas #numismática

Have you bought some coins at a flea market and are unsure if you've been sold a fake? Have you found some lying around the house, think they're valuable, and want to do some checks before taking them to a numismatic shop for an appraisal, valuation, or similar service? In today's video, I'll explain the most basic and universal way to check if a coin is genuine or counterfeit, using as examples several 5-Peseta coins from the Provisional Government, Amadeo I, Alfonso XII, and even Alfonso XIII. We'll need some basic tools like a scale and a physical or online catalog to identify and verify certain physical characteristics of the coins we want to analyze. Keep in mind that this is "only" one of the most basic methods for determining the authenticity or falsity of a coin; It's not the only way, and simply weighing a coin won't give us a 100% definitive verdict... there are cases where counterfeiters really go all out... and we need to look at more details, but we'll analyze that in an upcoming video. By putting all this into practice, we'll develop the habit of easily recognizing counterfeit coins at a glance.
