There was a season when I couldn't explain why I kept returning to a cemetery. I wasn't fascinated by death. I was drawn to a peace I couldn't yet understand. 1 year later, I realized it wasn't the graveyard calling me.. it was the place where the versions of me built on fear, people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and the need to earn love were finally laid to rest. This song is about grieving the false self, discovering that what felt like abandonment became an invitation, and finding God in the middle of the place I least expected.
