How To Make A Latte At Home With An Espresso Machine [Step by Step Tutorial]

Looking to make a simple latte at home? Our friend Austin Childress of Carabello Coffee shows you exactly how it's done in this short video. For our purposes, we're making a 12 ounce latte that consists of a single 2 ounce shot of espresso and about 10 ounces of steamed milk (with some beautiful latte art just because we can). Though the English term "latte" was first used in only 1867, variations on the latte have been a breakfast staple for centuries. It originated from the Italian phrase denoting milk coffee. However, this drink’s presence in cafes is a distinctly 20th century development.
