What is it? What's the point? And the famous question: "What will you do later?" I dealt with these questions as best I could throughout my studies, and even later, when I started teaching at university, giving lectures, or publishing in scientific journals, I kept getting asked them, as if it weren't really a profession in itself. So, if you're about to embark on this path, or if your child is, or even if you've already started a course of study in this field and you're doubting your future—in short, if you're afraid, especially because of the job prospects and what might happen—that's perfectly normal.
