Malia im Dornröschenschlaf: Die Ruhe vor der Mega-Party! 🇬🇷 Resümee am Ende

We just wanted to enjoy a relaxing all-inclusive vacation, but what we're experiencing here in Malia has really given us pause for thought! 🌴✨ We're taking you to Dimokratias, Malia's legendary party street. Right now, in the middle of April, it all still looks like a giant construction site. Everywhere, people are working at full speed, painting and tinkering. It's fascinating to see how the town is preparing for the onslaught. When does it all start here? 🗓️ The real high season in Malia usually starts in mid-June and lasts until the end of August. Then this quiet street transforms into a sea of people and music. Seeing the empty bars now, it's hard to imagine how crazy it will be here in a few weeks! What really shocked me: 😮 Many hotels and shops are still completely closed. The season is short: Locals often only have about four to five months (June to October) to earn enough to last the whole year. It's incredibly stressful, considering how hard everyone is working right now. Even though it's "only" 20 degrees Celsius and a few clouds, the atmosphere is special. Malia is definitely worth another visit when the lights are on and the streets are buzzing. Have you ever experienced Malia in peak season?
