Episode 0 : "From Science to Fantasy" We are currently confronted by global-scale challenges that cannot be solved with the existing state of science and technology, such as climate change, energy crises, and pandemics. Perhaps what we need to overcome these impasses is the power of fantasy to imagine the future without being burdened by conventional wisdom. The setting is the Enoura Observatory, an art center that was conceived to serve as a historic site thousands of years into the future. Contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto hosts dialogues with guests on the forthcoming changes to humanity that may be brought about by the space perspectives.
