Geographic Weighted Regression on 911 phone calls
In this tutorial, 911 phone calls for Portland Oregon are analyzed in comparison to US Census Tracks with ArcGIS 10.1. A Geographic Weighted Regression (GWR) is used to compare multiple variables, and a multi-variable GWR is performed to predicate 911 call volumes based on population projections. This lab uses Moran's I Spatial Autocorrelation, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), and GWR to do a full analysis on the simple dataset walking through all the steps one would use when thinking of applying GWR. This lab is based on ESRI spatial lab on GWR. https://southwesterngis.blogspot.com Dataset =https://www.dropbox.com/s/8c2jfcs8d82...
