But it's true that something like this happened, so I'm leaving it up as is to raise awareness. I'd occasionally seen stories of women camping solo on social media, but I vaguely thought, "I'll be fine." (I was so naive, I regret it.) I took various self-defense measures, and I thought I was able to remain calm when things were happening, but it was still scary. Although no actual harm was done, I couldn't sleep a wink afterwards, thinking about what I'd do if they returned... I don't have any extreme thoughts like, "They must have been loitering around the tent with the intent to harm me!" or "Everyone who loiters around campsites is suspicious!" But in this case, I honestly felt like they were deliberately shouting past the tent to scare them. I think they were just trying to play around among themselves. Even so, the situation of several men against one woman was very unsettling and extremely scary. Whenever there's a debate about "women's solo camping," I almost always see the opinion that "it's the women's fault for camping alone, knowing the risks." That's just not true... Are you serious...? Lately, I've been hearing a lot of stories about thefts in the camping community. Are you saying, "It's the women's fault for camping despite the risk of being robbed"? Not at all. The perpetrators are 100% at fault. Although I had a bad experience, I still love camping and will continue to go solo camping. Some heartless people might think I was "trying to cause a stir" or "just trying to get more views" (although I would like to believe that there are no such bad people), but it was so bad that I would have been happy with zero views if I could have avoided such an unpleasant experience... This is a really basic thing, not just in camping, but each and every one of us should put ourselves in others' shoes and not do anything unpleasant. It's the basic principle of being human, isn't it? I pray that we can continue to live in a peaceful world where we can camp comfortably and enjoyably. I hope that not only female campers, but also male campers, can enjoy their camping life without any unpleasant experiences. *The campsite I used is in no way at fault, so I appreciate your understanding in that regard. —————————————————————————————— The following are the products shown in the video. ★Soto Micro Torch →This week's MVP, applause! https://amzn.to/3JlNg2e ★Saw →Lightweight and incredibly stable https://amzn.to/3FMFPk3 ★Fukuzen Charcoal Tatami Mat →The lightest and coolest firewood splitting stand https://fukuzen.shop/items/62f33954ac... ★Ultimate Light Wedge →A super cool wedge with a visual appearance that only a brave warrior could wield https://minne.com/items/34657866 #camping #campgirl #campgear #campingfood #walkingcamping #ultralight #solocamping #solocampinggirl
