Since 1951, the Edhi Foundation has been serving humanity in Pakistan. Today, that legacy is being carried forward by the third generation. Recently, the Global Sumud Flotilla, carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, was intercepted by Israeli forces as it approached its destination. Among the more than 400 volunteers on board was Saad Edhi, the grandson of Abdul Sattar Edhi, who was detained after the vessel was stopped.
