Speaking at the event, she filled the crowd with immense energy by saying, "I used to think Palnadu means fear, but after coming here, I realized Palnadu means strength (Balam)!" She urged the locals to raise their voices so loudly that they reach Delhi. Sitharaman highlighted key reforms in the banking sector under PM Modi’s governance, contrasting it with the Congress regime. She stated that banks have changed their attitude and are now reaching out to street vendors and small businessmen without any guarantees.
