Exploring Monticello, KY: Art Deco Wayne Movie Theater, Quilt Shop & Historic Buildings

March 27, 2026 Blindly exploring while driving through and walking around historic downtown Monticello, Kentucky, the Wayne County Seat. There are several awesome historic buildings, including the art deco style Wayne movie theater built in 1931! The old quilt shop building with the barn quilts (hexes) at the top really caught my eye! What a nice historic building and fixed up so nicely!
