R211S Staten Island Railway
On Tuesday, October 8th, MTA started debuting their R211S fleets on the Staten Island Railway to soon replace the R44 fleets after 5 decades. While the R211S is the exact same fleet as the original R211A, the S versions were made for Staten Island specifically. These fleets also feature the bus transfer announcements. We capture the similar designs on the train and take the ride through Staten Island! We also meet a couple of transit buffs along the way! Enjoy! =) Filmed 10/10/2024
