1938 Stock Heritage Run Northfields to Heathrow Terminal 4 ✈️10/08/2024

https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/h... My 2nd time on the London Transport 1938 Stock was from Northfields to Heathrow Terminal 4 ✈️ and then back to Northfields on the 1055 working, the first one of the day! As always it was definitely worth the £30 (£28.50 to be specific) for this tour! On the tour to/from Amersham in early September, I'll definitely sit near the guards area in the pink or blue coaches as always! Maybe next year I can sit in the orange and green coaches rather than the usual pink and blue coaches! On this run, the doors only opened at Northfields. And no ‪@jonathanwheeler2687‬, they shouldn't have let people off at Heathrow as the 1938 Stock is for ticket holders only! Those intending to get off at Heathrow would have to travel on the normal 1973 Stock trains on the Piccadilly line that will sadly be replaced by the 2024 Stock in the near future. Saturday 10th - departed at 1055, 1240, 1450 and 1610 Sunday 11th - departed at 1105, 1245, 1505 and 1645 0:00 - Northfields 0:53 - Doors opening 4:21 - Doors closing 4:28 - Northfields departure 5:56 - Boston Manor 8:21 - Osterley & Spring Grove (closed 24th March 1934) 8:35 - Osterley 9:55 - Hounslow East 11:02 - Hounslow Central 13:03 - Hounslow West 17:52 - Hatton Cross arrival 18:14 - Hatton Cross departure 21:15 - Stopping outside Terminal 4 24:47 - On the move again 25:39 - Heathrow Terminal 4 ✈️ 32:12 - Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 ✈️ 35:38 - Hatton Cross 39:28 - Hounslow West 41:30 - Hounslow Central 42:02 - Guards bell (the main reason why I like sitting behind the drivers cab on the 1938 Stock as well as most, if not all National Rail train types) 43:16 - Hounslow East 45:19 - Osterley 45:45 - Osterley & Spring Grove (closed 24th March 1934) 48:46 - Boston Manor 51:12 - Northfields arrival
