Hello, this is Shibasaki. In this video, I paint a still life of roses and fruit using acrylic gouache. Unlike my usual transparent, watercolor-style approach, today I went the opposite direction — fully opaque, with bold thick layers from the very start, aiming for the texture and depth of an oil painting. Acrylic gouache is such a versatile medium — it can even achieve this kind of oil-painting feel.
