Jaby and Michael watch Luc Besson's "Lucy" for the very first time! In Lucy, a woman gains superhuman abilities after unintentionally absorbing a powerful drug, unlocking the full potential of her brain. Lucy was directed by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Léon: The Professional, La Femme Nikita). The main cast includes Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow, Lost in Translation, Marriage Story) as Lucy, a woman who gains extraordinary cognitive abilities after being exposed to a powerful drug. Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, Million Dollar Baby) plays Professor Norman, a neuroscientist who helps Lucy understand her evolving powers. Choi Min-sik (Oldboy, I Saw the Devil, The Admiral: Roaring Currents) portrays Mr. Jang, the ruthless drug lord responsible for Lucy’s predicament. Amr Waked (Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Syriana, Geostorm) plays Pierre Del Rio, a French police officer who assists Lucy in her quest. The film blends action, science fiction, and philosophical themes, exploring the limits of human potential and consciousness.
