FOUND...A HIDDEN BRIDGE on The Forge Valley Railway Line | Disused Railways UK

Welcome to the first part of a 3 part series exploring the old railway stations of The Forge Valley line one of many disused railways in the UK. This episode I travel along the old railway line called The Forge Valley Line that used to run between Scarborough and Pickering, in North Yorkshire. During Part 1 I begin my journey along the disused railway stations of The Forge Valley line at Seamer station (still an active station) where the Forge Valley Railway branched off and headed towards Seamer. I take in some of the still in tact railway infrastructure such as Seamer Bridge, Irton Waterworks, an old railway bridges across the River Derwent and Forge Valley station itself, located in West Ayton.
