The Dance Of The Mat
I am proud to present Justin Spittle, a super high energy waterman from New South Wales in Australia. Justin got into mat surfing and bodysurfing due to a back injury that prevented him from popping up on a surfboard. After getting a surfmat, Justin realises that riding one of those "blow up pool toys" is way more challenging than it looks. With sheer persistency, he learned the dance of the mat, how essential the right fins are and how to control the hell out of the unusual surf craft. "The Dance Of The Mat" is the fourth episode of a series of surf videos that tell intimate stories about people who pursue surfing in a different way and with non-standard wave riding tools.
