Medio Maratón CDMX 2026 sobre Av Paseo de la Reforma

In this video, we hit the streets bright and early to experience all the adrenaline and excitement of the Mexico City Half Marathon. We took advantage of the morning's "Muévete en Bici" (Move by Bike) ride to pedal with all our energy, starting from the Basilica of Guadalupe area and heading straight for the heart of Paseo de la Reforma. The main goal was to reach the iconic Angel of Independence roundabout, right where the finish line was located and where the runners concluded their enormous 21-kilometer effort. #MoisesGarnica The atmosphere in Mexico City during this event is simply breathtaking. The streets are filled with thousands of runners, families, cheering sections, and friends celebrating, applauding, and taking souvenir photos with their hard-earned medals. After feeling all that excitement at the finish line, I continued cycling towards the Auditorio Metro station area to see how the scene was changing and to show you the end of this great day of sport. A unique Sunday filled with energy, civic pride, and a strong sense of community on one of the world's most beautiful avenues. Did you know? The Mexico City Half Marathon is one of the most popular athletic events in Latin America. Its current route runs primarily along Paseo de la Reforma, an avenue designed in the 19th century under Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg, inspired by grand Parisian boulevards like the Champs-Élysées. Today, running or cycling among its historical monuments and modern skyscrapers is one of the most iconic experiences the nation's capital has to offer.
