Golden Hour After the Haunt - Gatlinburg Space Needle

Fresh out of Ripley's Haunted Adventure, still riding that post-haunt adrenaline, we traded screams for skyline. The crowds on the strip felt a little quieter, the energy a little softer, and for a moment, everything slowed down. Up at the Gatlinburg Space Needle, golden hour was settling in just right. The Smokies stretched out in every direction, layered in that warm, fading light, while the strip below started to glow with neon and movement. It’s a different kind of rush—less chaos, more calm—but just as memorable. This was one of those unexpected resets. After the noise, the darkness, and the intensity of the haunt, this felt like the perfect way to level things out—somewhere between date night and decompression, with one of the best views Gatlinburg has to offer. ‪@gatlinburg‬
