Spell & Ability Battle Quotes - Non-Playable Guests (Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles)
The original Final Fantasy Tactics (originally released on PSX in 1997) occasionally had characters randomly yell ability and spell quotes before initiating certain actions, which had greatly added to the overall atmosphere of both the story and the game. Unfortunately, the 2007 "The War of the Lions" re-release for the PSP had excluded them, due to some development issues behind the scenes. The players had made it clear, however: they were sorely missed as a nostalgic and key component of the original game! The new 2025 Final Fantasy Tactics remake (now with the new subtitle "The Ivalice Chronicles") have made sure the ability & spell battle quotes are back in, and now (as a massive bonus) with full professional voice acting! These voice lines are pulled directly from the game, and organized and included with set dressing here in this video for easy viewing and listening purposes. Chapters: 00:00 Goffard Gaffgarion, Fell Knight 00:13 Delita Heiral, Holy Knight 00:55 Orran Durai, Astrologian 01:04 Alma Beoulve, Cleric 01:18 Ovelia Atkascha, Princess 02:53 Zalbaag Beoulve, Ark Knight "Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne. Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions. Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss. Featuring fully voiced dialogue, beautifully enhanced graphics, and countless gameplay improvements, the genre-defining tactical RPG makes its long-awaited return!" #finalfantasy #tactics #turnbased
