Something Borrowed: Boss BR-800 Digital Recorder - Better than TASCAM?

Guilherme at the Orlando CSL insisted I borrow his Boss BR-800 digital recorder, I think to show him how it works? IDK! What I do know is, I'm always here to borrow gear from people.
