Vase mode box with compartments printed with 0 8mm nozzle, 2mm thick wall
Since the reason people get a 0.8mm nozzle is vase mode due to its ability to create 2mm extrusion width thanks to the wider outer nozzle diameter, I want to design a box for my nozzles using vase mode. Vase mode requires a single closed contour which is not a problem for actual vase but for a organizer box, I would need a way to insert the wall inside without breaking the contour. It was an interesting design in my opinion as it create a pseudo organic shape due to the constrain of vase mode. This video is mainly about my struggles with vase mode for the first time and the lessons I learned from it. I will definitely explore vase mode even more because it is just so cool to design for the nozzle diameter and for the print process. #3dprinting #freecad #bambulab #bambua1 #orcaslicer
