East Broad Top - riding the “Silver Sightseer” to End-of-Track

On September 20, 2024, the last day of the Friends of the East Broad top September Work Week, a crew headed out of the Rockhill Furnace roundhouse in the “Silver Sightseer” track car (powered by a 1972 Chevy Vega engine!) to the current end of track in order to fully spike and gauge previously laid rail. Take a ride with us as we navigate through the various stub switches in the shop complex. The “highlight” of the video is the lunchtime northbound ride from the current (as of September 20, 2024) end-of-track back to the Trolley Museum in Rockhill. This compliments my previous video showing a similar southbound ride.
