Water Sensitive City (Thematic Partnership)

Launched in 2024, the Water Sensitive City Thematic Partnership envisions a future where European cities become more resilient, sustainable, and climate-adapted by placing water management at the heart of urban policies. The Water Sensitive City concept offers an integrated approach to urban water management, vital for tackling existing and new challenges posed by climate change, urbanisation and land use trends. The Water Sensitive City partnership includes 23 partners representing national and regional authorities, urban authorities, European umbrella organisations, other stakeholders, and the European Commission.
