Artist Diaries 🎨 Enjoying the summer and painting miniature landscapes 🌳

Artist Diaries 19 Welcome to the nineteenth episode in my Artist Diaries series! Today is another catch up episode full of summertime landscape scenes and a painting Timelapse. Balancing the collection of reference material and then painting that reference material is proving to be quite a difficult task. With this being my favourite time of year, it’s difficult to prioritise painting time when I could be outside instead! I’m hoping that painting on a miniature scale will help me to improve that balance! In this video I talk a little bit about the benefits of painting on such a small scale. This week’s painting was inspired by a landscape I saw while out looking for butterflies and other painting inspiration.
