Musical boxes and automata are fascinating examples of early mechanical marvels, offering a glimpse into the ingenuity of clockmakers and artisans. They are mechanical instruments that produce music or perform actions, often driven by intricate clockwork mechanisms. Filmed at Keith Harding's World of Mechanical Music in North Leach profiling the history and instruments of home entertainment before 1924 and the beginning of broadcasting. Sadly, the museum is now closed, and this is a rare reminder of preservation for such a unique facility. The building has been sold & all instruments have been removed after 25 years of opening.
