✈ Hong Kong (HKG) ⇄ Taiwan Taoyuan (TPE) flight trip - STARLUX Airlines A321 Neo & A330-900 Neo

This video was filmed on 2026/06/05 & 06/09. There are many options for travelling between Hong Kong and Taipei. All Hong Kong airlines offer routes, with prices varying from high to low. Taiwanese airlines also operate these routes, but their prices tend to be mid-to-high. Starlux Airlines, a relatively new Taiwanese airline, launched its Hong Kong-Taipei route in 2024. Starlux's service seemed good, so I paid a little extra to fly with them. At that time, the round-trip price was around HKD $1400, only slightly higher than Hong Kong Express and Greater Bay Area Airlines (plus hand carry fare), but much cheaper than Cathay Pacific. It included meals and checked baggage, making it a very attractive price.
