Arunachal Pradesh, India 🇮🇳 — Hidden Himalayan village life & incredible farm food! Welcome to Day 2 in Shergaon, Arunachal Pradesh, one of India’s most untouched and underrated destinations. Today is all about authentic village life, farm-to-table food, and breathtaking Himalayan nature—this is the side of India most people never see. We start the morning with a traditional Indian breakfast—hot, buttery aloo paratha, paired with a rich yellow peas masala curry and classic Indian milk tea (chai). Simple, comforting, and packed with flavor. From there, we explore a local orchard in Shergaon, filled with apples, peaches, and persimmons, giving you a glimpse into the region’s organic farming culture. Then we visit a peaceful trout fish farm in Arunachal Pradesh, surrounded by crystal-clear mountain water and stunning scenery. Snacks get even better—freshly boiled farm potatoes with a bold, spicy chutney made from fermented soybeans, chili, and tomatoes, along with a refreshing fruit salad and cake. For lunch, we enjoy a wholesome Indian vegetarian thali, featuring farm-fresh vegetables, dal (lentil soup), and steamed rice—a true farm-to-table experience in Northeast India. 👉 In the next episode, we go deeper into Arunachali culture—catching and cooking fresh trout in the mountains.
