From Whitings to SNAPPPER in Seconds!

Out at Avalon Beach, I knew the East wind would make this session different — and I wasn’t wrong. I got there earlier than usual, pushing through thick fog with barely a few meters of visibility on my scooter. Fishing started slow… really slow. But once I figured out exactly what the whiting wanted and adjusted my rig to match the bait size, everything changed. Suddenly, I was landing some solid King George whiting! In between casts, I took a break and enjoyed a classic Turkish lunch — homemade cheese & spinach börek. Right after lunch… boom 💥 a BIG whiting hit! Just when I was about to pack up, I got the strongest bite of the day. The moment I grabbed the rod, I knew… snapper. After a solid fight, I landed a beautiful 40cm fish to end the session on a high. As always, I spent some time cleaning up rubbish left behind by others — because keeping these spots clean matters just as much as fishing them. 👉 Tough conditions, changing tactics, great food, and a rewarding finish — this is what fishing is all about. #AvalonFishing #MelbourneFishing #KingGeorgeWhiting #SnapperFishing #FishingAustralia #LandBasedFishing #FishingLife #CatchAndCook #FishingTips #BeachFishing #SustainableFishing #CleanOurCoast #FishingVlog #VictoriaFishing #outdoorlife Avalon fishing, Melbourne fishing, King George whiting, whiting fishing tips, snapper fishing Australia, fishing in wind, east wind fishing, rock fishing Victoria, best bait for whiting, fishing rigs for whiting, Australian fishing vlog, land-based fishing Australia, fishing in fog, coastal fishing Victoria, sustainable fishing, cleaning fishing spots    / @canpacificfishing     / canpacificfishing     / can.pacific.fishing     / can.pacific.fishing
