After fitting hammers: 7:59 re-weighted keys 50g in centre, 48g top treble, 52g in lower bass, ± 2g. 8:32 chipped key repaired (see 3:19 above ) 8:48 clean tone of replaced hammers - they need fine voicing and can be further voiced down if required. 9:09 new hammers, shanks and rollers - can be voiced down to taste! 10:05 lubrication with Talc or Teflon powder, French Chalk is Talc in stick form! 10:34 new hammers played - crisper tone. cf.2:10 above 10:52 Played after new hammers fitted.
