Becoming a Geisha 3 (2005)
An interesting documentary on the way of the geisha: A young woman from Northern Japan has decided to quit school and move to Gion, the geisha quarter of Kyoto. There she wants to fulfill her dream of becoming a Geisha, called Geiko in Kyoto. First she has to go through a trial period of several months and only after passing an exam is she formally accepted as an apprentice Geisha, called Maiko.
