[GT] Haru & Rin AMV - [SINK OR SWIM]

An entire Free! AMV in 2026?? I’m trying to catch up on sports anime, because their... plot is always so good. (IYKYK). Honestly, I love almost every ship in Free!, but Haru & Rin’s relationship is my favorite. I can personally relate to the heartbreak of a childhood friend moving away. I love how they have all these conflicts and rivalry at first, only to realize that they just want to be friends. (Lovers, in my mind, but anyways) I tried to play around a bit with comps. The entire theme came from Rin’s letter to Haru he sends from Australia. Fun fact: all of the notes are in my own handwriting. I put my heart and soul into this project. I paid so much attention to detail that at 1:06, I copied the letter exactly as it appears in the Starting Days movie: Rin writes the letter to Sousuke, and he talks about Haru in the third person. However, Sousuke notices that Rin wrote “you” instead of “Haru” at first, meaning that while writing the letter, he was thinking about what he would say personally to Haru. I knoooooow you can’t even read the text, let alone notice this, but I still wanted to include it anyway. I’m really happy with how this AMV turned out, and I hope at least my love and passion for this ship shows in the video. And lastly, this is my first dedication to my team, Gomibako    / @gomibakoteam  . I became a member in December 2025, and I’ve loved it ever since. Everyone is super friendly, and it’s an amazing and supportive team. I love them both in terms of projects and MEPs, but also for everyday conversations. ♥
