We Found Aspen’s Best Hike! No Crowds & Epic Views

We're hiking Buckskin Pass in Aspen, Colorado! This trail climbs 3000 ft to INCREDIBLE views, and it also wasn't nearly as busy as other hikes in the area! This trail goes past Maroon Lake & Crater Lake, which are the lakes you likely see in photos of the Maroon Bells. We got an early enough start that we even got to experience these two iconic lakes without the crowds. If you're heading out to do this trail, we'd recommend getting a parking reservation for an early morning start so that you can drive straight to the trailhead and beat the crowds. This trail had a decent amount of climbing but was SO worth it for the amazing views. This is our first time hiking in Aspen, and I'm sure we will be back!
