Being a mom abroad is not easy… especially when you’re doing it without a village. In today’s vlog, I wanted to give my kids a taste of home 🇳🇦 by making Namibian fatkoek (also known as puff-puffs) so they can stay connected to their roots—even while growing up in Canada. At the same time, I’m navigating everyday mom life—running errands, responding to your requests (yes, I finally went to get that bathroom mat 😅), and doing my best to show up for my kids… even on the days it feels overwhelming.
