Faire son shampooing solide: le tuto!
Hello everyone, and thanks for stopping by! ^^ Today I'm sharing a recipe inspired by one of LUSH's best-selling products: solid shampoo! However, we're going to leave out all the controversial ingredients, especially Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), which is an irritating detergent, and replace it with a coconut oil derivative that's much gentler, but just as effective! The ingredients needed for this recipe are: 63g sodium cocosulfate 58g SCI (sodium cocoyl isopropyl alcohol) 14g mango butter 9g broccoli seed oil 5g silk protein 6g provitamin B5 3.5g of a blend of essential oils or fragrances 3.5g of natural colorant (optional! I used a lot here for a "toning" effect, especially for bleached blonde hair, but you can either use 1g for a lighter effect, or leave it out altogether!) 18g water And above all: Take good care of yourself :-* ************************ I hope my videos can help you, particularly with using essential oils, or perhaps even inspire you to try this 100% natural and 1000% effective hair care method! ************************ Precautions for Use and Proper Use of Essential Oils: Use essential oils sparingly and with caution: they are very potent. They should not be applied to the eyes, the area around the eyes, or inside the ears. In case of contact, apply a generous amount of vegetable oil, then rinse with water. Consult a doctor promptly. Essential oils must be diluted before application to mucous membranes. Always keep essential oils out of the reach and sight of children. Some oils can be irritating or particularly sensitizing; therefore, most essential oils are used diluted in a vegetable oil on the skin. Always perform a skin patch test on the inside of your elbow for at least 48 hours before using any oil, whether undiluted or diluted, on the skin. If you observe a reaction, do not use the oil in question. Some essential oils can be photosensitizing. After using these oils, avoid sun exposure for at least 6 hours. This is particularly true with: lemon/lime/mandarin/orange/grapefruit/lemon verbena… Some essential oils can be irritating, particularly sensitizing, or exhibit some toxicity at high doses or with long-term use. Be careful if you are using an oil of the following types: tropical basil/bay rum/dill/anise/cedarwood/cypress/eucalyptus globulus/wintergreen/clove/Italian helichrysum/bay leaf/litsea cubeba/mint(s)/St. John's wort/nutmeg/oregano/pine/rosemary/fir/sage/thyme(s)/lemon verbena/ylang-ylang… The use of essential oils is generally not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with epilepsy, hypersensitivity, or those with hormone-dependent cancer. Except in exceptional circumstances, do not use essential oils to treat babies and children under 3 years old. Do not combine essential oils and medication without medical advice. For oral treatment, essential oils must be diluted in a carrier such as oil, honey, sugar, or a neutral tablet. In case of accidental ingestion, swallow several spoonfuls of vegetable oil (olive, sunflower, whatever you have in your kitchen) to dilute the essential oil. Contact a poison control center and consult a doctor. *********************** All music used in this video is royalty-free. *********************** My background (for those wondering about my qualifications): I am a chemical engineer specializing in organic chemistry (graduated from ENSEEG - INPG Grenoble in 2004).
