Chef Sumito Estévez has been one of the leading exponents of Venezuelan cuisine in Latin America. He has run his own restaurants in Caracas, Margarita Island, and later in Santiago, Chile. He has created chef training schools and hosted his own radio and television programs and YouTube channel. He is a media-savvy chef, tireless, unstoppable, and with much to say for being an active human rights activist.
