The TRUTH about WORMS in Fish... Catch Clean Cook (Sea Trout)

Happy new Year! Brook, Ryan and I did a little wade fishing for Sea Trout aka speckled sea trout in the Indian River in Ft. Pierce, Florida. We were using popping corks with live shrimp. Sea trout, like many fish in the Sciaenidae family often contain worms. The most common worm in this fish is the "Poecilancistrium caryophyllum" a type of tapeworm that looks like spaghetti, but is not harmful to humans when ingested both raw and cooked.
