Adjumani MP urges leaders to accept Apaa compensation
Adjumani district Woman Member of Parliament Jessica Ababiku has urged leaders in Acholi sub-region to accept the decision by government to compensate people occupying the wildlife reserve in the contested Apaa land. On Thursday, MPs from Acholi sub-region rejected the government offer of shs10 million, 20 iron sheets, plus other resettlement packages per family, to allow them leave the wildlife reserve.
