Iranian Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad said any country that allows its territory to be used for attacks on Iran could become a legitimate military target. Tehran claims the attack killed one sailor, injured another crew member, and caused significant damage to the vessel, while Ukraine says the ship was transporting military cargo between Iran and Russia. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the strike during a phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, vowing that Iran would take all necessary measures to protect its national security.
