In Latin America, drugs are circulating that almost never contain what their names suggest. Laboratory analyses have found ketamine, cement, veterinary medications, and synthetic opioids more potent than fentanyl in doses sold for less than a dollar. Consuming drugs without knowing what's in the mixture is akin to playing Russian roulette.
