NEKYIA - Passing through darkness || A running documentary

Marios Giannakou, a former overweight adolescent, decides to win back the life he has been dropping off hands, by starting running and eventually taking over ultra marathon races. Between him and his new beginning, stands one of the 10 most demanding ultra marathons in the world, Rovaniemi 150, 150 kilometres in the unfriendly arctic circle, in temperatures that reach -30 degrees of Celsius. The documentary follows the athlete's effort, in a race that winning is nothing, compared to the option of discovering the limits of human's spirit.
